Bio

 I have enjoyed teaching first grade for thirty-three years! I have a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Master's degree from Troy State University. I am blessed with a wonderful daughter, Sommer, an Auburn University graduate, who married her high school sweetheart Stephen (also an Auburn graduate) in June 2016. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Colorado in May 2020. They now reside in Virginia where her husband serves in the Space Force and she is a pharmacist. I have two precious grandsons, Sterling and Emmett.  I enjoy spending time at the beach and getting together with family.
