Bio

Hello!
I am Monica Fisher.  I graduated from Auburn University of Montgomery with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2013.  I decided to be a stay at home mom until November of 2020.  I was a long-term substitute for Pre-K at Prattville Primary for November and December.  In January of 2021 I accepted the 2nd grade position here at Prattville Primary School.  I am so thrilled to be at PPS and can't wait to get to help your children explore reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies in 2nd grade!  We will be learning new and exciting information daily and I encourage you to ask your children about their days so they can share what we are learning at school.

I am happily married to my husband, Matt Fisher and we have 2 children.  We got married December 18, 2010.  My son, Harrison, is in the 2nd grade at PPS and my daughter, Natalie, is in Kindergarten at PKS.

We also have a daughter in heaven who passed away at 1 month and 8 days old, Lainey.

Some of my favorites!

Color: purple

Hobby: photography, hiking, camping

Candy: milky way--or anything chocolate

Drink: iced caramel coffee

Animal: sloth and cat

2021-2022 School supplies will be provided for all students!
Tote bags will be needed for each student (no backpacks)!

Students may bring water bottles to keep in the class and we will refill them as needed.

We will have breakfast in class daily!
