My whole entire childhood I knew that I wanted to be a teacher!  As soon as I graduated high school, I started my first summer of college at Southern Union State Community College on basketball scholarship.  Once completing my associates degree, I transferred to Auburn University of Montgomery to complete my Bachelor degree.  Three years later I returned to get my Masters as a Reading Specialist.  I am proud to say that my entire career has been spent at Prattville Primary School. I love my PPS family!  I completed my internship at this school and then was hired in the fall of 2003.  I have taught one year of 1st grade and this is my 19th year teaching 2nd grade.  I have been married to Allen Brothers for 20 years.  He is also an educator and coach in Chilton County.  We have two children, Bella is 18 and Jackson is 13.  I enjoy crafting, singing, sports, and teaching across the curriculum.
